Life can feel like a race. Often, we move from task to task, and thought to thought, with high intensity and little time for a break. This can lead to the chronic dysregulation of the nervous system, which is an important factor in the development and persistence of chronic pain/symptoms.
Use this brief practice to press pause. The goal is to move from DOING (busy, productive, intense, analytical, striving) to simply BEING (present, curious, grounded, non-striving).
This daily practice helps the nervous system brake into a regulated state. The more you practice, the easier it gets!
