You're in good hands.
We're a group of therapists who specialize in healing chronic neuroplastic pain and symptoms, working with clients each day at Pain Psychotherapy Canada.
With a goal of increasing access to healing, we've created a course that combines the education, exercises, and daily practices that help our clients recover.

Tanner Murtagh, MSW, RSW
In my early 20s, I began to experience anxiety, depression, and chronic pain that spread throughout my body. I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia and several other conditions. I felt deeply confused because healthcare providers could not agree upon what was wrong, and physical treatments provided little relief.
Thankfully, I learned about neuroplastic pain and began to realize my body was structurally healthy. Utilizing the same learning and practices we provide in this course, I was able to regain safety in my brain and body, and I'm now living a full life, pain-free.

Anne Hampson, MSW, RSW
As a therapist, educator, and Tanner's life partner, I've witnessed first-hand how neuroplastic pain and symptoms can impact families, and that it's possible to recover. I utilize a mind-body approach to help clients eliminate or reduce their chronic pain and symptoms, expanding upon the same education and techniques that helped our family.
I hold many years of experience working in the mental health field, with a specialization in trauma, working with people of all ages. I believe in focusing on strengths, recognizing we all have the ability to change.

Alex Klassen, MSW, RSW
Growing up, my parents experienced chronic pain and fatigue following traumatic injuries and stress, which informs my compassion and motivation for helping others heal. I work as a therapist and educator, helping clients heal concerns with nervous system dysregulation, chronic pain, and neuroplastic symptoms by increasing safety in the mind, body, and environment.
Working in mind-body healing is an exciting and rewarding job; I'm continually researching pain recovery and neuroscience, while witnessing my clients develop safety and regain the quality of life they deserve.
